Appalling Apes

Outside here this day, in the wet wind the ochre leaves disintegrate into brown on the ground. It is warm for November 21st. But if we travel over there, across the continent, across the vast spread of a fitful sea, in Ukraine the first snow of the season is falling in Dnipro.
