(I woke up feeling grumpy, depressed and overwhelmed with my life of late, but after reading your story, I feel much better. Thank you for reminding me that 'things can always be worse.' And I do mean that in the kindest of ways.)
Oh, I'm a model for the "things can always be worse" person if anyone wants to feel better. :) Happy you're not grumpy anymore or depressed. We're all depressed I think.
Actually, now that you mention it... yes, I believe I have reached that point. I used to just find them annoying but now I definitely suspect an act, or something even more devious. Sigh... I never used to be like this....
I am more concerned about what seems like complete lack of empathy and compassion for their fellow Canadians when they run around with their positive thinking without looking at reality and tempering their reactions somewhat.
Yes, I agree. We seem to be observing a new form of humanity. The more I see it, the more I want to separate myself and live a quiet private life, far away from the crowds, spending my time only with those I choose.
NNNOOOOO! You're seriously ending your tale there!! What happened to Four???? Did you get him out of the sewer pit? Was Winstonia waiting at the edge of the forest for you to rescue her boy? Did he run off never to be seen again? Did you wrap him in the blanket take him in, give him a bath and he's living his best raccoon life eating cat food and snoozing at your feet all day? Come on you old fool!! Enquiring minds need to know!!
Well I'm happy to know that you are an older fool than i, (haha) i can't end it really until 4:00 when they come to feed. They better all be there including Four and Winstonia or I'll be quite upset. I did get him out of the sewer pit with the oven mitts and shovel... oh hell that was ghastly! Really! And he ran off the second I got him on the ground. Little devil. I will let you know. Sigh... :) I've not yet checked the mail because it is way over there and I'm being lazy and tired. Lova ya girl.
I've missed your stories. You always make me smile
Ditto Jill... please don't leave us hanging!!

I totally agree. A sad sign of these crazy times we are living in....
Have you reached the point where you're suspicious of anyone who isn't depressed? lol
