no...
So my neighbour phoned me to tell me there was a bear on my doorstep. Yes. No sooner do I stop for over a week now, feeding the raccoons… And it is a baby bear. It is a little bear. A little hungry hungry bear. Why is this happening? I’ve been good for over a week. There is no food for anything. Alright, I lied. I fed the five crows earlier this morning. First time in a long time. But they were making a hell of a racket and then swooped in and collected it all and disappeared. There has been nothing of any sort of wildlife beyond Frederick for so so long. Then… the baby bear…A hungry little bear with no doubt soulful eyes. Probably an orphan looking for his mother. Here in semi-suburbia. I’m never looking out the window again. I don’t want to know who is hungry out there. I can’t bear it anymore. Pun intended

the bear is hungry, the raccoons are hungry, the people are hungry-
the state will feed them, perhaps with poisons, perhaps within pens...
