How honest and real your comment. I'm starting to become angry. That's so very unlike me. I don't know if it is a delayed grief reaction or what. And that would be quite the delay for me. Years even. However. What right do these utopianists have to dismantle everything to their liking and suppositions? What right do these utopianists have to hurt so many people? What and who gave them such rights? What morality are politicians operating under who steal money and play with people's lives? Who do they answer to? And I understand that this world is not the only world perhaps and what happens here is perhaps inconsequential to what comes after. But are we to simply kneel down and accept the loss of all that we are losing? Are we to? I try to tame my anger and find the skies. They are promising a cerulean blue today. But no wind to stir the heart or snuff out the fires of anger. We live here. We have only that to know. And do we simply ignore then all that is happening just so we don't go mad? We are far better than that surely? Do we ignore all that is happening and its legacy to our children and our grandchildren so that we might find a peace inside for us alone? So that we don't suffer? I don't even know anymore. I have seen the worst of human behaviours during these few years and I have also seen some of the best. We cannot give up on the best. We fight our small small small battles but at least we fight? Or do we give up and cater to the fearful and the ferocious? I dunno anymore. It matters. On that Philip, I can't agree with you. It matters.
I must apologize Phil. I'm discombobulated these days. I agree with you. Democracy as it stands now is hopeless in the face of all this. Thank you kindly for your clarification. We'll have to figure all this out sooner rather than later. This world such as it is. :)
Maybe we babyboomers ought to do our "last hurrah" in some form. To save the real world. What that might be I don't know. But really, what have we got to lose at this point, except our minds maybe said she who is feeding wild raccoons....
