Now you may be wondering why I’m producing humour pieces right now. It is because I’m extremely angry and that, alas, is when humour has to come out of me. It is how I deal with it all. My apologies in advance because I’m not likely going to be all lightness and love for a bit. I might get sarcastic. I will however do my best not to resort to name-calling as our politicians in this country seem to do when anyone disagrees with them. As a politician, go ahead and name call the opposition party if you simply must (because you obviously lack any sort of grace, empathy or civility), but do not do it to the people who pay your salary whether they voted for you or not. The divisive labels thrown at segments of our population by politicians is reprehensible. I am angry at what is happening to my country and the state of the world. To all our countries. There are many possible approaches and solutions to the world’s problems so why is it that the worst ones are being taken right now? And the wars! Dammit! Not to worry, I will likely calm down and my humour will disappear again for awhile.

I love your humour, and your anger resonates deeply. Thank you for expressing so eloquently the feelings I have that don't seem to form into cohesive sentences. Often it's just a string of words that I don't want young people to hear.
I like your humor. Reading about the Red Lobster trip made me laugh until years ran out of my eyes and that was sorely needed. It made a better ending to a rotten day. The world needs a lot more humor right now.
