Two things that strike me as interesting about this article...the first is how they couldn't just stick with it as a human interest story, but instead they had to sensationalize it by adding the that hospital ER is being blocked by the crickets (or so implied). Really? Give me a break. But so typical of news today.
The second weird thing I noticed is since when does a state government have a "state entomologist"??...is this a new thing or have all states hired an official scientist to look after their insect populations?
