When the State defines insanity we are all doomed.

I seriously think that they are now drugging the elderly to death here in the USA when they become a financial burden to the Government.

Well if you look at what Todd has said about this MAID (medical assistance in dying) here in Canada and how as psychologists they are gradually i presume being admonished not to talk people out of suicide... then we know insanity. People are not important. The values are very much skewed. I don't even know what to say about that but all things seem possible now. On the side of evil. So far. Until ... well until.....

They want us dead just as soon as we quit giving THEM money.

After the next election here (if it even happens) I wouldn't want to be one on welfare.

The State is actively trying to doom all of us. Have you heard the term, "evidence-based reality?" It's a term of art that's been adopted by governments and NGO's like the Aspen Institute, a sort of baby World Economic Forum. It has this commission:

Aspen Institute Commission on Information Disorder

https://www.aspeninstitute.org/programs/commission-on-information-disorder/

"How government, private industry, and civil society can work together in the short term to help protect underrepresented groups, and engage disaffected populations who have lost faith in evidence-based reality."

Meet the Commissioners - including a sitting state AG and others deeply involved in the our governance, information, education and commerce:

https://www.aspeninstitute.org/programs/commission-on-information-disorder/meet-the-commissioners/

And what happens to those who've "lost touch with evidence-based reality?" How different is that from dissociation from reality? Which is a clinical diagnosis of insane.

If you disagree with or contradict the official government/media narrative you can be diagnosed as insane under this scheme. A classic weapon totalitarians use against the disobedient. Hitler "euthanized" many of his regime's political opponents by declaring them asocial, insane, undesirable.

We must be very wary of the Behavioral Health programs that have sprung up in local communities across the nation over the past decade, a torrent of them since 2020. They will be the departments tasked with rounding up the disobedient who contradict official narratives, spread political dissent. Diagnosing them as insane. And marking them for "euthanasia."

Behavioral Health agencies are packaged in pretty wrapping with compassionate and caring slogans and missions. But don't be fooled. They are being established in large numbers in our communities to become the Murder, Inc centers in service to totalitarian government. Tasked with "compassionately" ending the life's of "insane" political opponents to criminal regimes.

And with Buck v. Bell SCOTUS 8-1 decision, "Three generations of imbeciles is enough" standing sterilization law (that Nuremberg defendants cited at their trials) as precedent, compulsory euthanasia isn't a big stretch. So we can't look to the courts to protect us.

Checking out the link, I wonder who made these people gods. If they really did anything about disinformation it seems the promoters of climate and health lies would be their targets. Like Fauci for one.

"You sound like you've lost faith in evidence-based reality young Skywatcher. Are you feeling okay? The evidence is in, the debate is over, climate science is settled. And to question Fauci is to question science itself, that's very dissociated from reality. You need some help, we'll send some mental health professionals your way from the behavioral health clinic closest to you. Just go with them when they arrive, they're looking out for your best interests."

- Your better's cut from a finer cloth of man than you who tell you what reality is.

Not questioning Fauci's science. Questioning his Seance!

"Beauty out of tragedy is one of humanity’s most painful paradoxes. Here’s an earworm with a song by a man whose life was lived despite impossible mental illness and tragedy. His life was our gift."

"Who has the right to decide?" Surely NOT the State.

Beautiful essay and writing and powerful message. Thank you.

How hard that must have been and still must be for you to have dealt with what happened with your mom padraig. It does make us wonder sometimes what civilization actually means. We're all wondering that now. When people are treated like numbers in a herd who are either useful or not, then we're into a dark place. We must fight that tendancy in society but I'm not sure how. Stay strong Padraig. It's not easy.

I’m so sorry. Pain and regret.

A friend in the Toronto area told me about an older man she knew, brother of a good friend, who was talked into signing up for the assisted end by his younger wife. His sister was so upset when she was no longer allowed to talk to her brother. And that was the end of his life, his usefulness over.

I do believe that keeping the elderly alive with drugs when their bodies have done all they can is unkind. It would be different if the family was taking care of them. But they’re kept alive in institutions as a source of income for pharma and medical corporations. No concern for their dignity.

My father begged us not to put him in a nursing home, and he begged God to let him drop dead. Which he did.

I’m so sorry for you and your mom

I hate it when I figure out later how I was manipulated into doing what they wanted to happen.

My plan is to visit the ocean one last time and swim out farther than I can swim back.

My ancestors would have taken a long walk and sat down beside a tree to meet death with dignity
