I suspect this is what will be happening to us all. I remember a scene in Dr. Zhivago during the revolution and the main protagonists living in their home in Moscow were expected to share their “albeit huge” mansion with many others. It is part of the idea of socialism and no doubt coming our way. It will be seen as the obvious solution to our housing crisis and because we babyboomers aren’t dying off soon enough perhaps.
Terrifying stuff as we now live in a low trust society. I can't think of how to vet potential housemates. This was easy as a student. As a senior, I would hate to have anyone but my husband and my dog living with me.
